Can the team FINE the next player that causes a TMMI penalty?
In soccer, players/teams get fined by management all the time for playing poorly or taking penalties.

If management can't monetarily fine them, at least they can sit the next guy that causes the next TMMI penalty.

And another thing, I want to see some sort of punishment for players that are mailing it in or taking penalties at bad times. On the other hand, players that are effective (i.e. Winchester) should be give more playing time.

They should have one of the assistants keep track of who going on the ice. Apparently they can't figure it out for them selves.

We had another too many men on the ice penalty against Montreal, but Montreal had too many men on the bench.

From TSN website ....
Ryan White was pulled from the game in the first period when the NHL noticed he was playing, but that the Canadiens had neglected to notify the league of his recall before the daily 5 p.m. deadline.

Had the league not noticed White's presence in the game, and had him pulled from the ice in the first period, it's quite likely the Canadiens would have had to forfeit their victory over the Ottawa Senators.

The Habs will be slapped with a significant fine possible in the 6 figures range.
