Lee has been out for several games since his last demotion. At first it was reported that he was sick, but now Nachbaur says he's injured. Rumors abound that he's refusing to play in Binghamton and the Senators are keeping it quiet while they try to work out a trade. Any rumors floating up there?
The one rumor should be just dump him ASAP he can't play at the NHL level is the bottom line, another great Muckler move that shows Muckler shoulda been fired a year or two sooner than he was.
Muckler never shoulda been allowed to run a draft. 20% of the guys he picked were Russian and they all either never came over or demanded trades.
Heard that he had the flu, then that there was something else. Lee has been the subject of rumours all season long, at the moment he looks like he's the #8 dman on the team.
I can't see us getting a great return for him he if it's just him that's traded, so maybe it's best he's part of a package. The consistent rumour has been Lee + something pretty decent for barker from Chicago, but that was fuelled by Chicago trying to sign Toews, kane and keith -they've done that now and Barker is still there.
There was a minor outcry after his demotion saying that Lee had been treated badly, but then reports started coming through that he and Clouston had an argument on the bench the day before he was demoted. Don't know what the truth is on that but I do know that if Lee is unhappy in Bingo it wouldn't be the first time he's handled a demotion badly.
Hey pucknut. Any word on Lee? Is he back playing or still sulking?
If he was injured, I don't think the Sens would have been able to send him down until he was healthy. So either he got injured in practice down there or he's sitting out.
There have been rumors of trade talks brewing between Ottawa and Columbus that involve Lee, but rumors are rumors, nothing definite.
Latest is that he's out indefinitely with a "lower body injury" and won't return this month. Not uncommon for them to be vague about an injury, even at this level, but there's still something strange about how it went from flu to an injury. Bingo is playing well without him and no one here wants him back. He's one of the few guys who we are happy to see promoted.
Sad part is he played well when he came to Bingo out of juniors. Really tried hard. Since his first callup he has been real inconsistent down here and sometimes just goes through the motions.
Cody Bass seems to be getting the right attitude. He's been playing nasty again and dropped the gloves Saturday in a nice revenge match.
