Because CBC owns the rights on Saturday night broadcasts in Canada and they're choosing not to do the game. Because no one cares about the Thrashers, they don't have TV coverage for their own team which means there's no feed for Centre Ice to use.
It has nothing to do with Ottawa.

espn360 (the euro version on gamecenter) has it listed as showing so there may be some streams out there.

Shredder, what do you mean it has nothing to do with Ottawa? This game is being played in Ottawa. This is ridiculous! I sent e-mails to CBC and NHL Center Ice voicing my complaint. I wonder if NHL CI could force CBC to cover the game? Here are the links to CBC and NHL CI if anyone else wants to voice their opinion.

Jerry, it's not Ottawa's fault. CBC has the rights to broadcast all Canadian games on Saturday nights. It's CBC's fault for choosing not to broadcast the game. If Atlanta is not broadcasting the game either than there's no feed for NHL Center Ice to provide it's subscribers.

I seriously considered making the 5 hour drive up to Ottawa this afternoon when I found out that the game was not going to be televised. Unfortunately, I have plans tomorrow and there is no way we would be able to make it back in time.

Can understand that Atlanta isn't showing the game a tractor pull or something has to be on SportsSouth.
But Ottawa is a hotbed of Hockey it's inexcusable to not have any TV.
