Without any knowledge, Picard perhaps, since it's the puck moving aspect they'll miss the most, and because Gainey has done nothing to sate the hunger Montreal has for native sons. That said, trades amongst rivals aren't commonplace, though it wouldn't be enough of a trade to really make eyebrows raise. They do have some guys that they might like to bring up on a rotation though (who doesn't want to see P.K. Subban in the NHL?).

Actually the Mesz deal still looks solid in terms of assets -- we have Kuba and Picard, and the pick we got was essentially swapped for Campoli. That's three OK d-men in exchange for one super-expensive OK d-man. Even if we drop Picard for nothing, it's still a pretty good 2-for-1 as I see it.
