They clearly wanted to save the magic of Sens/Leafs for the season opener. Then again, I'll catch tidbits of it when the Sens' rookies face the Leafs', Pens', and Bruins' rookies in a tournament in early September. Mike Hoffman won't have to travel far if he's on the roster.

Looks like the pre-season schedule was announced today, below is the date and teams we got matched with this year.
Tuesday, Sept. 15 - Ottawa vs. Florida, 6 p.m. in Halifax
Wednesday, Sept. 16 - Ottawa vs. Florida at Scotiabank Place, 7 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 18 - Ottawa at Montreal at the Bell Centre, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 19 - Ottawa vs. Montreal at Scotiabank Place, 7 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 21 - Ottawa vs. Tampa Bay, 9 p.m. in Regina
Friday, Sept. 25 - Ottawa vs. Boston at Scotiabank Place, 7 p.m.
