that's a lot of salary to take on. Gomez will probably do well in MTL under Jacques' D system but he's never been and never will be worth 7 plus million. all of a sudden, sather doesn't seem quite so insane.

Supposedly it comes down to NYRangers and Edmonton who are left before this asinine 4 Million payment due the traitor.
Edmonton has Souray Visnovsky and maybe Gilbert on defense, plus O'Sullivan and Cogliano (maybe) from the Forwards

Ok things starting to break the NYRangers are looking to clear space for Heatley is the rumor or not.
But what does NY have that Ottawa would want? Staal and to clear space back so they can sign some UFA's?
