-38 in American or Canadian doesn't sound very pleasant

I haven't been out of the house in 4 days. Unfortunately I have to go out today. Not happy.

Yeah but has it been -30 in Ottawa for the past 6 weeks as it has in Winnipeg? Apparently it's warmer on the service of Mars than it is here.

I really don't know who is going to win this game. Winnipeg is pretty bad, but it depends on which two teams come out to play.

Speaking of Winnipeg, I saw that somehow Blake Wheeler made the US Olympic team, but Bobby Ryan didn't. That's unfortunately only good news to Team Canada and the other countries. I saw some other players didn't make it either (like Yandle).

its been damn cold in Ottawa all of December, even late November. this winter sucks.

Apparently, it was colder today in Ottawa than the Antarctic.

"it's -26 C (-38 C with the wind chill) this morning in Ottawa"

It was -38 without the windchill when I was driving to work on New Years Eve in the morning here in Thunder Bay. Quit complaining. :)

it's only 65 here today in NoCal--but I did tough it out and didn't even consider turning on the AC in the car

Why can't convo stay in front of his net? Why does he keep wandering over into the same corner his partner is in?

AlMontoya has played against Ottawa now twice I believe and he's won both with a shutout in one of them

Kassian needs to do that more often if that's all it takes to have other teams take a penalty

January 2, 2014 at 7:56 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

For those not in Ottawa, the parking lot at the ctc is the coldest place in Ottawa. Always about 15 degrees colder out there because of wind. Could not imagine it tonight.
