Cowen and Wiercioch are healthy scratches; Anderson will be in net again tonight.

FINALLY they sit Cowen out.

November 28, 2013 at 5:04 PM | Registered CommenterChuckProuse

well overdue. he'll be better for this. really should have happened sooner.

I'm surprised it took this long, given that there's been a revolving door of anyone not named Methot/Karlsson/Phillips. What happens now will be interesting too, as I still wouldn't be surprised if Cowen spent some time in Bingo working with Luke Richardson / Jason Smith / Steve Stirling as they've been doing great things with Borocop, Ceci and there rest of the blueline corps there.

TV news all going on about how busy the airports are this week . Get there extra early. So i did. 4 other people in security area. Through in 5 minuets and only 2 and half hours to kill.

So Corvo is better than Cowen?

November 28, 2013 at 7:04 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

Correct on Gryba. As far as Corvo, either the coach feels his mistakes are more predictable and easier for the team to deal with, or he's less disappointing and not a long term project. Corvo played 6 more minutes than either Cowen or Wiercioch in the game last night vs WAS. That's a 3rd pairing that is REALLY out of favour with the coach. REALLY.

Cowan needs to be sat down . He needs to be better.

Senior: aren't airports in the US busy yesterday and tomorrow / weekend, but quiet today? I would have thought most people travelled before Thanksgiving day, rather than on it?

November 28, 2013 at 7:20 PM | Registered CommenterKardinal

Your probably. Caause it sure is quiet right now.

Sens lose the first four faceoffs. Hmm.....uncharacteristic. Nice rush there with good passing by Condra and Grant, and a good shot by Greening.

evening Sam.

Sens have always been hesitant to sit players, even when its obvious they need to be. don't know why that is.

their better players, I should say.

Mornin' Ralph.

Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro! Left by Boro!

I really like it that teams keep challenging "the rookie" and he obliges and then wipes up the ice with them. I don't want him in the box too often, but his toughness is helping this team. No question in my mind.

November 28, 2013 at 7:54 PM | Registered CommenterKardinal

Boro has been one of the steadiest players since his call up.

It's always good to see milestone goals be beauties, and that one by MacArthur certainly was a good one for the 100th of his career.

Please qualify that statement a bit TJ. I'd be okay with JVR or Lupul, but I'm not interested in too much else on that team. I don't understand why they let MacArthur go when he's playing like he is.

Ha! no.

November 28, 2013 at 8:14 PM | Registered CommenterSensGab

They probably let him go because he's not a goon.

November 28, 2013 at 8:25 PM | Registered CommenterSunburned Senior

Your right Kardinal, sign the ones like MacArthur who I was totally wrong about who can actually play. Plus I was trying to be funny :-)

"I don't understand why they let MacArthur go when he's playing like he is."

We let Benoit go and signed Corvo. Facepalm move of the year
