Phillips back in. Wiercioch & Corvo both healthy scratches. Condra not quite ready to return. Anderson back in net.

Hopefully yesterday's 40+ minutes of practicing breakouts will show some benefits tonight.

son of a bitch--why the frak isn't Lehner back in net especially against this team. Thought I heard Anderson hasn't beat Boston forever. Lehner had beaten this team

November 15, 2013 at 7:51 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

and the bastards score while I'm typing I imagine. let me guess it wasn't his f::king fault-- Lehner was stopping shots that wouldn't have been his fault

November 15, 2013 at 7:53 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

just read Neil scores an unassisted goal --HOW???

November 15, 2013 at 8:24 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

That was the old Neil. Make a good hit, without taking a penalty, lead to turnover, he buries nice wrister. Greening made a nice play on it too. Big goal. At end of period.

November 15, 2013 at 8:27 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Neil haters on Twitter suddenly went quiet at the end of the 1st period. Gee, I wonder why.

November 15, 2013 at 8:38 PM | Registered CommenterKardinal

In all fairness, Neil has been very irresponsible this year. But so has everyone else.

November 15, 2013 at 8:44 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Exactly. There are some players who people are quick to turn on and others who get a lot of leeway. Neil's taken some really stupid penalties so far this season and is a lightning rod for negative comments because of the A on his sweater.

Not surprising that there isn't much praise; people are always quick to complain and slow to praise.

I didn't see the Detroit game but has Ottawa played a good first period yet this year?

November 15, 2013 at 9:24 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Damnit of course my NESN feed freezes...as they score.

November 15, 2013 at 9:34 PM | Registered CommenterChuckProuse

Buffalo beats Toronto. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

November 15, 2013 at 9:39 PM | Registered CommenterChuckProuse

I think they've had a scoreless first period....does that count as a good one?

(I'm too lazy to check all my game summaries to be sure)

November 15, 2013 at 9:42 PM | Registered CommenterKardinal

They definitely get stronger as the game goes on

November 15, 2013 at 9:46 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

November 15, 2013 at 10:00 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

look at the jump the sens have again a little confidence goes a long way.

November 15, 2013 at 10:09 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Sens beat Tim Thomas last weekend, and beat Boston Bruins on home ice this weekend, after being down 2-0 in the first period.

Is this bizzaro world, or is this really happening?

Simple explanation: the Paularus and Bryan Murray know more than all of us armchair GMs and coaches.

November 15, 2013 at 10:11 PM | Registered CommenterKardinal

are you saying shredder is smarter than murray?

wait, what?

November 15, 2013 at 10:14 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

just landed and see that all my negative energy from earlier was rightly ignored by the guys who actually play the game :-)
