I'd rather you'd supply me with the live game ;-) Of a reasonable quality that is.

Gonch is making it a little bit difficult, setting a record, that Karlsson will sometime be breaking.

if that's the case, then let the streak go on as long as it can.

Karlsson makes everything look to effortless, this will give him a bit of a challenge.

Would you guys re-sign gonchar for 1 year?

I would! Not only because of his play, but I hear the rookies speak very highly of him. As good as Karlsson is, when it comes to experience, it doesn't come much better than Gonch. He played approx. 100 play-off games more than Wiercioch has played NHL games. Has the ring to show for it, too. As this season proves, you can never have enough depth on defense. Next season we have the Apostle back, but who says we'll be injury free then?

So, how will the D look like next year: Karlsson, Cowen, Methot, Phillips, Gryba, Wiercioch (RFA). 7th D Borocop (RFA)
UFAs: Benoit, Lundin, Goncharia

I hope Murray doesn't sign him for more than a year, if the team is going with the youth movement. If they do sign him, one of the young guys will be a 7th D.

NHL man games lost - March 17th

Sens with the most with 133 games. Boston is at 11.

I guess Boston's numbers exclude Marc Savard, who hasn't played in 2+ years.
Not sure if Ottawa's numbers exclude Cowen, who hasn't played with Ottawa, but did play this season in Bingo.

Alfredsson's starting to look like he did back in '03 with the big hair. Awesome.

Today's game is like a throwback to 05-07 when the Sens would come out flying and take care of biz in the first 20

Awww. Storm blows in and we had to come up from the pool and watch the game.

Big save Lehner!!!!!

March 23, 2013 at 3:23 PM | Registered Commenterthegertkenator

@!#$!ing Lundin. just before that "pass" off Phillips' shin pads, he passed he puck to the middle that luckily was picked up by a Sens player, but could have easily been picked up by a Tampa player for a breakaway

The Alfie chant!!!!

Sens are finding some serious chemistry here.....

March 23, 2013 at 3:27 PM | Registered Commenterthegertkenator

Lundin is terrible!!! It's uncanny, every time he's on the ice he drops a turd.

My first live NHL game was Sens vs. Lightning. I always love these contests.

It's gettin chippy out there. I predict Lehner will drop the gloves today near the end of the 3rd.

March 23, 2013 at 3:30 PM | Registered CommenterSens Dawg

What was that in the Bruins game with Lehner being challenged to drop the gloves? I watched the game but somehow managed to miss it.

Fun to watch other teams announcers. Apparently they are watching a completely different game than I am.

SD, I think those are only for certain games. It's the "We're sorry for the lockout promotions"

Excluding today's game, our average attendance is 19,139, which is 99.9 % capacity

March 23, 2013 at 4:00 PM | Registered CommenterHomer

SD - while we do NOT sell out every game, we have 95%+ attendance.

I actually PREFER this - I can get into any game I want to go to.... unless it's just an amazing huge anticipated game like playoffs or something.

Compare that to fans who can't get in their own barn.
