Wasn't that just a waiver from the NHL, like Lawson and a couple of others earlier this week? I thought Cannone was going to be staying in Binghamton, and that list is just guys who aren't making the big team out of training camp. It could be a step back for Cannone, but there are also different bodies to insert into the pecking order (like Slifverburg) as well as a small camp due to the short timeframe.

Not sure what you mean Kardinal, but I think you are correct because Canonne was still with the BSens today.

Sad to watch Cody Ceci pack up and head back to jr hockey today. Good news is, he is going to be a star when he is NHL ready.

Interesting waiver list from today...
Sens waived Pat Cannone. Seems like he took a huge step back from last year.
Also Phoenix waived an old favourite around these boards - Rob Klinkhammer (cue nickname cat calls).
Lastly, looks like NJD will be giving Bobby Butler another shot at being an NHL forward. Let's hope he doesn't have his one game a year hat trick outburst against the Sens this season!
