the Figgs call was total BS but the others--Kuba hooked and Silferberg and 9MM deserved theirs. Gert is right they did not play well at all that period

not all on the refs but you can't deny the had a huge affect on that period. 5 on 3 's are hard to overcome.

I also have a problem with that Silfverberg call... same thing that happened to Cowen, but once again the Rangers Missy can't stay up on his skate.

silfverbeg call was bs. the guy went down like jenna. 9mm call was borderline. he grabbed the guy but the guy also went down on his own to draw penalty. figgs call was just ridiculous.
remember what peel did to us out west. he stuck it up the sens asses after the o'rourke incident.

They blew it big time. But without the reputation call on Figs it is a 5-4 powerplay and Richards does not have the time and space to get that shot in to take the go ahead goal.
Without that goal the entire last few minutes is different and the Sens may have not been running around so much allowing the weak third goal.
So the Sens blew it by sitting back in their usual 2nd period collapse, with a severe momentum changing call by the Stripes.

without that 5 on 3, this game is totally different. the refs caused that. could the sens have been better? for sure. but when you're struggling, the last thing you need is a bs 5 on 3 called against you.
