it looked like his shoulder was hurting along with his head didn't it???

Hopefully Spezza just has a stiff neck, and can be back for the third, or at least can be back for game 5.

Turris gets knocked down in the slot and didn't have the puck. Where's the penalty?

(conspiracy theory)

The NHL has decided the mistress darling of the East is the Rangers, in case the darlings (Penguins) get eliminated. Therefore no penalties unless they are blatant and even those (like the hit on Spezza) aren't called if they are plausibly deniable.

wow, 2-2 after 2. Did we ever fight back in the 2nd like that?

The pesky Sens started their come-from-behind-to-win charge a period early.

looked like he got hit in the right side of his head near the ear---so don't think it was his shoulder at all

April 18, 2012 at 9:21 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

i just don't have the energy to fight anymore. if they can call Smith for his two hits and Konopka for his, yet let that go on Spezza.....how can i fight it anymore?

April 18, 2012 at 9:23 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Why hasn't anyone elbowed Boyle all the way to China yet?

April 18, 2012 at 9:31 PM | Registered Commenterdadexter

Wow, didn't think he was coming back from that.

April 18, 2012 at 9:33 PM | Registered Commenterthegertkenator

Oh great, now Chester is gone.

April 18, 2012 at 9:33 PM | Registered CommenterHomer

Elbowing Boyle would be the wrong focus of anger; it should be Lundqvist, Gaborik, Stall or Girardi.

Christ, I'm surprised the ref didn't hand the guy a blade so he can draw some blood

April 18, 2012 at 9:37 PM | Registered CommenterHomer

April 18, 2012 at 9:37 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

Operation shock and awe... engage

April 18, 2012 at 9:40 PM | Registered CommenterPvtSnafu

The NBC guys have been surprisingly good. Wish they would cover the anthems rather than going on commercial break after only coming back from break to catch the pre-anthem ice interview.
