and they haven't played a game in these playoffs with a lead yet either

you only need to be leading at the end of the game to win.

Did you see the net cam shot of that puck just spinning?

What an effort. What a team. What a game!

......and the Senators win a playoff game at home for the first time since the "centurion" incident during the Stanley Cup run.

Figured it out. I've been sitting in the wrong seat. Loveseat is 2-0 and the recliner is 0-2.

And the OT winner scored by ... Bryan Murray - thank you for that December trade. We should dig up that old thread about the Rundblad and a pick for Turris trade... lol

Every time my boss and I discuss the upcoming Sens game the day of the game, the Sens lose. Today, the boss took a day off (to be with his grandkids) and we didn't talk about it at all :))

Interesting that TSN is airing the NBC highlights. Video

"Interesting that TSN is airing the NBC highlights. Video"

They have to. I don't think they have a feed of the Sens game at all.

I was shocked how down and out the Rangers looked, especially Torts. He wasn't firing them up at all at 2-2 in the 3rd. They seemed afraid.
I loved it. Let's finish them off now.

Question now is: who plays for Winchester? He was awesome today. Saved a goal. Do they bring Hoffman? Klink?

why is Spezza having a breakdown right now?!? He's been mostly playing "the right way" (to quote Torts) all year.

that rush in Ot was one of the few times ottawa wasn't facing more defenders than they had attackers on a rush. finally got some room.

Do you mean this thread?

Sens aquire Turris from for Rundblad and 2nd round pick

I'll admit, I was wrong. I'm happy I was too. Not just because of this game either. Murray really did make a great move with this trade.

So Bob Cole is starting to learn the players. But, in the first period I swear I heard him say "Zenon Smith". Did anyone else here that? It was 9 mins into the first period. Hilarious.

April 18, 2012 at 11:42 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

Now, if we can only teach him how to say "Goncharia"

tonights refs were Eric Furlatt and Francois St.Laurent, the same tandem which worked Sunday’s circus between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers.

explains a lot about this game.
