One of the Florida sports programs just did a preview of the first round of the playoffs. Apparently Sens will probably be eliminated from playoffs some time during the second period of the first game.

No surprise there. Rangers are favourites. It has to be annoying to Rangers fans when "experts" (i.e. J.R.) pick the Sens to upset. Reminds me of the days when Ottawa would finish top 4 and always be picked to lose/choke/fail.

So my buddy at work came by, and asked me to get in on the playoff pool. As I was filling in the winning teams, the Sens just kept coming out on top. So, I've picked the Sens over the Canucks in the final this year. Am I nuts? Yes, but I voted with my heart. It was much easier last year when I only had to choose with my head...

i do believe the rangers will take the first one though. have a feeling the sens will be a little awestruck in game one. once they get that out of the way, they should be ok.

So family screwed me over for tonight. Sister's birthday dinner was moved from Tuesday to tonight. Of course it is running late and they don't get the NHL network. Watching the game on tape delay when I get home.

It's Christmas morning today if you are a Sens fan!
The team has been to the playoffs a lot in its 20 years, but this year it feels exta speacial... a dawning of a new era, if you will.
I can't remember a Sens team that has looked more like a family than this group of guys. These guys truly enjoy playing together, battling and not quitting on one another, and there was plenty opportunities for them to faulter. Everyone expected them to do just that. Nuh-uh! Middle finger, FTW.
The boys went through the ups and downs like a family lead by poppa Stache. :))
I can't wait until tonight's game!!
