We're all volunteers paying out of our pocket. We operate on a loss. If you'd like to help, it will be put to use running the podcast and we'll give you huge kudos on the show!
Thursday and Saturday are the probable dates to start the series there is a concert there Wed.Nite and a Knicks game Friday nite.
Bad news, boys. I hear Bob Cole will be doing our series with Healey.
I take it that Dean Brown is done for the year then. I think that Ottawa has a better chance against the rangers than versus the bruins, but also the rangers have a better chance over Ottawa than Washington. I think this will be a tight series
Dean will be doing some other series, but not Ottawa's.
Healy hates the Sens?
sarcasm by the way
I'm over Bob Cole. I've actually grown to like the old fool.
Healey is a different story. First, his name is too close to Heatley for my liking. Second, when did that haircut go out of style; the 80s? Third, what century do we live in? You'd think we'd be able to mute the commentary feed by now on a tv but be able to keep the crowd/arena noise.
Oh well, it'll be a real test of patience... or maybe I'll just watch RDS and listen en fracais.
Friedman just tweeted that Cole/Galley/Healey/Campbell will work the Ottawa series.
Think with a week to prepare that Bob Cole will learn the Sens names? nah, not a chance.
Galley will keep them in check... :)
Cole I'll be able to suffer through but healey will have me chewing tin foil long before this is over.
Pump it up! Love what he says 1:30 on - absolute truth!
it's Healy not Healey---if we r going to hate a biased exLeafer we gotta spell his name right
tin foil? I got some to chew on
For Christ sake! Why can't they give us dean and galley?
spelling doesn't count on the interweb.
I'm going to be at game 2. no, not home game 2, I mean series game 2 in NYC Saturday night. Let's do this Sens !!!!
I will be at home game 2 (game 4) as well :)
Course you will; you'll also be at games 1 and 3 playing goal.
Neil is back at practice but left early; Konopka fills in with Winchester and Smith - I fully expect a 5 and a 10 within the first couple of shifts at MSG.
Bad news is Carks wasn't at practice and thus Gilmorgan was paired with Phillips (facepalm, oh boy...)
I need a quick refresher on the "Bob Cole Drinking Game" rules. I think #1 below is correct, but I can't remember the rest of them. I'm adding #2 and #3.
1) Take a drink every time Bob Cole uses the generic "The Sens player ..." because he can't remember a players name. 2) Chug the remaining contents of your glass / bottle every time Cole refers to Kuba as "Kubina". 3) 1 whiskey shot for each time Cole refers to Karlsson as "Eriksson".
agent orange has to chug his gin tonic with every negative comment about the sens that healy makes.
May not be as easy as that with the convoluted television schedule in the US.
Game 1 - NHL Network (likely the CBC feed)Game 2 - NBC Sports (former VS Network) - Likely different talking headsGame 3 - CNBC (probably CBC feed)Game 4 - CNBC (probably CBC feed)Game 5 - NBC Sports
4) Keg stand if Anderson shuts out the Rags.5) Tequila shot if they mention: frozen chicken breasts, kitchen, knife, etc.6) Post and "misses the net" = take a drink7) A shot for every goaltender interference penalty Foligno gets. Also a shot every time Anderson gets bulldozed and nothing gets called.8) Take a drink for every Healy reference to the Norris debate and pointing out Karlsson is not a defensive d-man.9) Daaaaaangle! (shot) FAN-dangle! (double-shot)
...this is fun
Ray Ferraro did a great job of breaking down the series on the radio today.
check it out here.
Alfie thinks this may be his last playoffs??? he played great this year he's got to come back, right?
