Sens Underground Forums > Sens vs Bruins: the warning shot.

No Thomas, Chara or Bergeron for B's. Good chance for Ottawa to jump on them and make a statement.

Lets hope so because if you look at it from a Boston point of view...

If Ottawa wins, well so what, Boston didn't have three of Boston's best players.
If Boston wins, well they did it without three of their best players. That's could have a big psychological impact on a series.

Sens might be smart to rest Karlssohn. Bruins might just take this opportunity to pound the crap out of him.

good point by the future wal-mart greeter

To me that sounds more like a "Let Ottawa win so we face them in the first round" move by Booston...

i remember back years ago, the sens played redden in a meaningless game near the end of the season and he broke his foot. was a huge blow to them in the play-offs.

Sens might be smart to rest Karlssohn.

If they do, will it will probably be held against him for the Norris trophy. The voters for the trophy will of course ignore that the fact that Chara is sitting out. It's redicoulous how they are trying to find any possible reason not to give Karlsson the Norris. I'm suprised they didn't blame all his sticks breaking on him and that being a defensice liabliilty.

And tonight's lines are:

April 5, 2012 at 12:18 PM | Registered CommenterSens Dawg

Everybody is talking about the Big Bad Bruins and how they are gonna target this guy and that guy.

I hope tonight Neil, Carkner, Cowen, Smith, Greening, Winchester, Foligno, Phillips ALL smash the crap out of Seguin, Marchand, Corvo, Kreijci, Paille, Rolston, etc.

Early observation at the arena: Bruins fans are better behaved and far more intelligent compared to blue cockroaches.

How does the reffing schedule work in the playoffs? Is it the same guys for the series or rotate out?

April 5, 2012 at 7:42 PM | Registered CommenterPost Draft Pan

i think they have two or three sets that rotate.

April 5, 2012 at 7:45 PM | Registered CommenterResigned Russell

according to Jack Edwards and AndyBrickley you stupid morons who think Karlsson deserves the BestDMan Award don't realize Defensemen play both ends of the ice not just offense. Now Edwards did think one day Karlsson will be a good Dman but just now.
Of course their guy Chara should be the overwhelming favorite over SheaWeber and the young Karlsson. The Homers in Boston are also not biased they are just being realistic.

Since Phillips has been added to the second unit pp, he's been just oozing confidence. Never seen him shoot the puck as much as he is right now.

April 5, 2012 at 7:50 PM | Registered Commenterthegertkenator

That first Alfie countdown was a weak effort.

April 5, 2012 at 7:51 PM | Registered Commenterthegertkenator

It's great to see that the coach sees that offensive threat in Phillips. Now if only one of the previous 8coaches could've seen that...
