Hey Orange are the MSG guys even admitting that the Sens are winning this game?

Also for those wondering why Gilroy drew in, he's from Long Island (North Bellmore). Nice move then to allow him to play in front of family and friends.

watched the sens-philly and this sens-isles game as well as the caps-habs game (secretly rooting for the habs... since the caps are kinda chasing us)...

What I noticed is how fast the sens are compared to the habs or the caps... that game was slow and boring as f'n hell

Pretty sure they are spacing out as they've run out of reasons on how the Islanders are blowing it.

Turris 2G and 2A--that's amazing considering he's did nothing like that all year long. and it's the first time he's been on the #1PP this year too.

Ah I love the smell of playoffs in the early evening.

April 1, 2012 at 5:32 PM | Registered CommenterAgent Orange

at least this time even if they had scored it wouldn't have mattered

Russell was the only one before the season started that I can remember who even thought something like this could happen #Playoffs

April 1, 2012 at 5:33 PM | Registered Commentertjlincoln

there was no way in hell that I thought they could win both these games this weekend

Sens gear is now 5-0 and gin and tonics are 4-0.

u need to retire that stuff till the playoffs, so u don't ruin the streak on meaningless games

The weather in Ottawa was rain/snow as we arrived at the venue for the get together, and as the game went on and the Sens were winning, the rain stopped, the clouds broke up and by the time the game was won and the Cardiac Kids had a playoff spot locked up, the sun was shining.

This proves that God is a Senators fan.

Crap. Just realized I won't be here the first week of the playoffs.

I've been thinking for a long time that the Paullrus needed to break up Alfie and Turris. Both do their best work when they are setting up the play.
Turris has needed a guy to fight through and get open in front of the net, or at least be able to battle there for loose pucks. isn't that what we saw today. Why not put Alfie with Spezza on the first line. They seem to over come the problem somehow.
