Now we just need a little help from the Leafs (!) and Habs....

that just sounds so wrong. I know it's true, but just sounds so very wrong.

I'm pretty sure Eugene can pony up if it helps the team win.

T-6 days and I'll have to sneak some into Scotiabank place for the Boo-ins game.

as per Steve Lloyd, Team 1200:

Zibanejad to join Sens next week. Eligible for playoffs. Likely won't play, so not to burn contract year. Likely play some for BSens.

If he plays for the BSens, that's still under his two way contract with the Senators. Wouldn't that still burn a contract year?

Washington just won in the shootout - can't depend on those Habs for nothin' ...

I finally got to see the 1st period from yesterday. Alfie was great. A couple of weeks ago he said in an interview he was missing some jump and was going to ramp up his training in the gym to get more explosive speed back. He diagnosed himself and just poured in some tough extra gym time. No excuses.

Alfie was the difference this season. No Aflie, no playoffs. We all need to pray he comes back from one more season. That would be just perfect timing for retirement.
