LMAOReally didn't realise that it was going to be 7....
here are a couple of gems.
The only problem with #2 is that they're not screwed because of the cap, they're screwed becasue they suck...
Actually they are screwed because of the cap because they can no longer buy their way out of mistakes.
Missing the playoffs 7 years in a row. Let's put that into prospective.
The modern day Senators joined the league in 1992-93 and made the playoffs in their 5th season. That was wan't from a re-build, that was from an expansion team, so it was a build from scratch.
In their 7th season, the Senators had 103 points. A true 100+ point season before the league started awarding points for losing games in OT. When did Toronto 1st get a 100 point season? Well is was in 1999–2000, the 1st season that the league started to award points for losing.
In the 7 years the the SU has existed. the Laffs have never made the play-offs. we'd like to take some credit for that.
and you're quitting? you know, if they make the playoffs next your it's all on you.
From bad to worse... if that is even possible
Gustavsson got hurt in the warmup. Looks like he took a shot just inside the knee.
Jussi Rynnas is making his NHL debut against the Flyers and the leafs are desperately looking for someone to back him up.
Let's just say that hypothetically this Rynnas kid plays light out tonight and wins the game, do you think leaf fans will wet themselves thinking they just found their goalie of the future? They couldn't be that stupid could they?
Flyers just scored, so it's not a shutout for the kid. Sorry Leaf fans, keep searching.
