Kuba's minutes would be hard to fill -- he's playing well as you don't notice him very often, and there isn't a player in the system or scratch list that has his skill set or experience. I don't think Carkner can fill that role, so it would be someone from Bingo or whoever / whatever came back in the trade. Wiercioch, Borowiecki, Gryba......not really Kuba types.
I'd rather keep Kuba and get nothing for him as he goes as a UFA if it means keeping the team as it is now to get to the playoffs and have his experience in the playoffs (veteran = been there before).
I don't think Gonchar is going anywhere -- NMC means it'll be hard.
