The Sharks sent him down to Worcester their top farm team yesterday--no one claimed him because no one is sure how healthy he is. So once he can play some games and prove he's healthy they'll more than likely put him on re-entry waivers because Doug Wilson already said he wants to do what's right for Nittymaki.
