For the amp/guitar techies out there...
I sent my Marshall combo amp to the shop to replace a worn out pre-amp tube socket. I get an email telling me that there are other sockets that will need replacing. I can only afford to replace one and now of one that gives me trouble. So, I request a single replacement. Then, I get a call that 2 tubes on my amp (a pre-amp and power amp tube) were also blown and replaced and now my bill is doubled! Is this story plausible or is the guy screwing with me? I am going to request that he return my blown tubes. I am also wondering why the fuse didn't blow? Hit me back with your thoughts...
