I think everyone is missing something here. Nhl goalies have amazing reaction times so when they drink they are only brought down to the level of us mere mortals in driving skill and reaction time.
But seriously, goalies are like drummers. Absolutely crazy, no one knows whats going through their minds when they do the stupid things they do.

Even Emery wasn't that bad. Getting your car impounded is one thing, but going to jail for 30 days to 6 months is pretty extreme
