Luckily we get some news around the league to talk about Mr. Torres being called in with Shanahan yet again, look at the Award Nominees and the other series left in play. Canuck gets a little excited with the sound board and we look at the week ahead. Plus, it wouldn’t be proper to not talk about the Leafs absolute collapse in the last minutes of their Game 7.

Boingy joins us for a segment and discusses life as a Sens fan in Toronto. We continue the usual lockout frustration talk, some prospect news, and even a little chat about TV shows.

Be sure to listen right to the end for a few extras and bonus tracks. If it hadn't been for Cotton Eye Joe, we'd have had this episode released a long time ago.

So this is a new phenomenon for me. I do have some thoughts on the whole dispute, but that's not what I want to write about. Reading about the whole NHL vs. NHLPA dispute however I've come across some sentiments around the interwebs about the locked out players playing somewhere else. That, I do want to write about.

The gist of these opinions seems to be: "How dare these spoiled millionaires take the jobs of hard working players in other leagues!"

I have some objections to that.

First. What those people are actually saying is that once NHL'ers are locked out by the league, they've lost the right to play professionally, period. Because they'll always take somebody else's spot. No matter what. Say there are 5000 payed hockey jobs available worldwide. From one season to the next, the NHL has a lock out. Suddenly there are only 4300 jobs available to the more or less the same 5000 players. Hockey is the same as any other line of business. Barring ongoing contracts (and the space they take), the best workers/players will be offered a job somewhere. That's the way it works. What would be the alternative? Should they all start their own 'amateur' league and all play there for free* until the dispute is resolved?

Second. They may be millionaires, but that doesn't imply they're spoiled or not working hard. Sure, there are whiners among those millionaires. Sure, some of those millionaires tend to take a regular night off. But do you really think there aren't any whiners, enigmas or lazy guys in the AHL, SEL or KHL? Apart from the KHL, the wages are considerably lower than in the NHL, so if they choose to play somewhere else, they take a huge cut in pay. Add to that, the real chance they have to pay for their own insurance and you see they aren't better compensated for the same amount of work than those whose job they 'steal'. Millionaires? Definitely! Spoiled? Maybe, but they're not treated that differently.

Third. Are the locked out players the actual problem here, or is it the other leagues with their teams? If none of the teams in other leagues would sign locked out players or if the other leagues would prohibit that, there wouldn't be a problem, am I right? Are the players to blame then, for taking someone else's job? Or are the leagues to blame for allowing or even encouraging it?

This is all well and good, but it's still a problem.

The way I see it, is that you have a certain range of quality in players on one hand. And on the other hand you have a range of quality in leagues. Once the NHL (temporarily) isn't there anymore, you still have the same range in players, but the range in leagues has taken a cut. The best players (NHL'ers) look to play in the best available league. For several reasons (location, league rules etc.) they don't all flock to the same league. If those leagues allow locked out NHL'ers to play there, it's too bad for the players they replace, but they simply aren't the best available anymore.

There should however in my opinion be rules to regulate all this. The first rule would be about the term of the contracts. Other players (non-NHL'ers) have to commit for at least a year. So should the locked out players, once they choose to play in another league. Maybe there's a scenario where all parties are better off when there's, by exception, a term of half a season. But otherwise players should commit for the season. I don't know what that means for an ongoing NHL contract if a new CBA is in place within a year and NHL games are played this season. But if it has quite severe implications, perhaps players won't sign somewhere else lightly. Nor will too many, so the disruption of other leagues is limited in that case. It could also put some pressure on the owners. Imagine Pittsburgh without Crosby and Malkin or the Minnesota without Parise and Suter, because of a breach of contract.

The other rule should be that players are treated equally when finances or other terms of employment are concerned. Same wages, same taxes, same insurance premiums etc.

---

I'd like to give a quick view from another perspective. The whole lockout could not only be a threat, but also be a huge opportunity for some European leagues, where teams don't sell out every game. If I were a league executive, I'd try everything in my power to get as many NHL'ers (preferably stars) to my league as possible. Attract as many subsidies, sponsors, merchandise sellers and advertisers as possible to finance it all. Go all in and try to put the sport on the map. Get as many on the bandwagon as you possibly can, in that year. Argue that the best hockey in the world is played in your league. People will come! ** I'd go...

*) If those games would be televised, they'd have my blessing ;-)

**) On second thought; that strategy doesn't work in Phoenix and Florida. But it still could work in some European countries, I guess.

Disclaimer: I'm European, so I'm not as entrenched in the North American sports (and/or customs) as most of you are. I blame all flaws in my logic on that :-) But I'd like to hear your opinions anyway, let me know in the comments or on the forum.

Bingo looks like it will be a great point of interest for the year as well as the AHL as a whole. We look forward to hearing stories of who will shine in the farm team and how the international hockey atmosphere will look.

Kardinal looses it over the Cyril Leeder speech and we give our kudos to those team employees who have either lost their jobs or are on reduced work arrangements. Comparatively to other teams who state that they haven’t laid anyone off, these are the people most affected by the lockout.

The new OHL rules around fighting seem interesting and effective. Will the NHL look at it? Will they even consider it for themselves?

No SCU podcast is complete without a little Whiskey Tango Foxtrot action on the length of contracts vs. the league CBA demands. Some make sense, others don’t.

We wrap things up with a little house cleaning and Pan announces the winner of the SCU Contest Prize! Thanks all for playing and we’ll have more as time goes by.

We look forward to having the actual game to talk about and hope that this lockout comes to an end sooner rather than later. Don’t forget, this is a show for the fans, by the fans, and with the fans, so please – CALL UP!

We also touch on the future of leadership beyond Alfie and the drastic change from previous years with now having a clog up on offence while shockingly looking thin on the blue line and try to fill these spots with the prospects that are coming up.

Around the league there has been some noise with Nash finally moving to the Rangers, Nashville getting their hands tied with an offer sheet and we talk about other big names on the move. All of this is of course dependent on the CBA being finalized in time for hockey to start.

Pan gets heated over recent Tim Thomas comments and Kardinal goes a little Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on the topic of the Raffi Torres suspension and appeal. We read our first e-mail from a long time groundhog and launch our very first SCU contest.

We’re looking forward to the start of training camp and pre-season and hope to hear from you soon via e-mail, the forums or twitter.

We talk about the awards ceremony and discuss as to what effect being nominated for the coach of the year may have on MacLean and his relationship with the refs. Also we look at who’s in and who’s out in free agency and who has re-upped with the Sens.

Touched on are the newest draft picks and look at Cody Ceci and the Senator’s pledge to look at local talent. We go into some detail about the trade in acquiring Marc Methot for a great guy in Nick Foligno. Losing Nick and his wife from the community is a big loss, but we wish him all the best in Columbus. Oh, and Figs better stay away from Anderson when he plays here!

We have our very first special guest to discuss the potential need for new enforcers. No, not Wayne Gretzky! Not Brenda Shannahan, and definitely not Mats Sundin! WE HAVE PUDDLE DUCK!

After a quick look around the league to talk about other big name signings, we look at the CBA offer by the NHL and, although worried, are hopeful for hockey next year.

We’re excited and looking forward to hearing from you, the listener as Sens Call-Ups is not only made by the fans, for the fans, but is to be made WITH the fans. We’re looking forward to hearing from you via e-mail and twitter and are eager to hear your suggestions and comments as to what you’d like to see on the show.

Instead of shutting it down completely, we've decided to open-up the Underground to Sens fans and give YOU the ability to share your own views and opinions with the groundhog community. Basically, Sens Underground Network will become a central hub for Sens fans to create and publish their own shows all under one feed. You can record a daily comment if you want or produce a weekly show like we used to do, it doesn't matter. The goal is to have as much content as possible so Sens fans who are subscribed to the SU feed can have something to listen to every day. And who knows, Russell, Shredder and StooLi might contribute once in a while… you know, when the rage can just no longer be contained!!

So if you're interested in producing your own show to distribute via the Sens Underground Network, please contact us and we'll provide you with all the info you need to get started.

We can tell you this right now, there will be at least one podcast you can listen to from the SU Network when the season starts. I'd like to introduce, Sens Call-ups.

Sens Call-ups will be hosted by Crazy Canuck, Kardinal, and Pan (aka David Ho). Groundhogs will be familiar with these characters as they've all been guest hosts on SU at one point or another last season. They have stepped-up and will be the first to produce a weekly show on our network. I know they will do a great job and I can't wait to listen to their shows and be a groundhog myself for a change!!

After 7 long and satisfying years, we at the Sens Underground say our final farewells tonight. 7 years of covering the Ottawa Senators from a fan's point of view. Its always been a show "by the fans, for the fans" and for one final time tonight, we take our places behind the mics and represent you, the Sens fan.

So, we start it all off by breaking down the final game of the season for Ottawa:

Sens 1 - NYR 2

And what a game it was. No one can say that this Sens team didn't leave it all on the ice. They gave it everything they had but in the end, they came up one shot short. One shot. Of course we all felt the initial disappointment, but we think that all Sens fans can agree this season was an overwhelming success. We take you through that final game, a game that may end up being the last ever by the Golden Gawd in a Sens uniform. If it was, what a fitting end it would be, with him being the best player on the team and scoring a classic Alfie goal.

Of course, with the end of the season comes all the expected questions, such as where do they go from here? Who will be back? Who moves on? Will Alfie be back? How will they fare next season? But as always, the most contested issue is Jason Spezza. The one constant over the years that we have done this show is how Jason can divide the Ottawa fan base. Some love him, some are frustrated by him. This year is no exception. We take a last look at this topic and discuss whether Spezza can ever be the leader we keep hoping he'll be.

The Stache and Murray had their finall pressers and we bump around a few of their parting comments, including who the Sens may target in the off season. And, to give the whole thing a nice "full circle" feel, we have one final discussion with Sportnet's Ian Mendes. Ian was our first guest, all those years ago, so we figured it only right he'd be our last and as always, he brings a little sanity to our rage-fuelled ravings. A huge thanks to him for all his contributions to our show over the years.

Once we have cleaned up all the hockey talk, its time to start closing up shop. We work our way through a pile of very touching e-mails from the Groundhogs that touch us deeply, as well as some great voice mails. We then take a look back at some of our favourite moments and experiences that we were able to enjoy as a result of our time Underground. We re-visit one of our original segments, discuss a very unique idea unfolding that could see the Underground community live-on and then tie up the last loose end; we tip our hats to you, the Sens fans and the Groundhogs, our faithful and beloved listeners and friends.

There are no words that would sufficiently express how grateful we are to all of you. All we can tell you, from the bottom of our podcasting hearts, is thank you. You have become part of our lives over the last 7 years and you have shared your lives with us. If we have helped enrich your experience following this great hockey franchise, then it was all worthwhile. We all consider this adventure we've taken together to be a truly rewarding one that has brought us memories to last a life time. We can only hope we've touched your lives a fraction of how much you've touched ours.

The future for the Ottawa Senators is bright and as we ride off into the virtual sunset, we want you to know that with every great goal we all cheer, with every huge save that has us yelling "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!", with every terrible call that gets us enraged and with every Sens win we celebrate, we will be thinking of you and remembering what we shared.

Long live the Sens!

oh...and LEAFS SUCK!!!!

Once again this week, with play-off fever raging in the capital, a game 7 looming and the return to Studio 11 of Stooli, we've produced another mammoth show for you. This year's play-offs have been over flowing with crazy story lines and the Sens-Rangers series is right there with the best of them. This week's results find the teams all tied at 3 games apiece:

NYR 2 - Sens 3 OT

Sens 2 - NYR 0

NYR 3 - Sens 2

The pesky Sens, the team no one but the Sens Army believed in, are 1 game from advancing to round 2 of the play-offs. To watch this series unfold has been a nail-biting wonder with every imaginable twist thrown in for good measure. Injuries, spectacular goaltending, massive hits, suspensions, bad blood, super-human efforts have all played a part in getting us to this point. But alas, so has our old nemesis: reprehensible officiating. Its so unfortunate that the NHL has become so tainted by this plague but there's simply no denying it; the games are being adversely effected by incompetent reffing. Its not a stretch to say that this year's play-offs already have been the most poorly officiated in recent history. It may not shock you to learn that we spend an inordinate amount of time on this subject this week and how it has played such a huge part in this series. Hey, you've been warned.

Of course, we also touch on some of the other hot button topics this week. The return of the Golden One, Craig Anderson's stellar play, the decision to play rookies Stone and Silfverberg in crucial games, Maclean's benching of Spezza, 9mm and Alfie, Alfie's meltdown, Chris Neil's and Zenon Konopka's surprising and undeniable influence on this series are but a few of the legion of discussions tossed around.

Want some more? Ok, we got you covered. The continuing struggles of Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek, two guys who have drastically under performed so far in this series, get a good going over and it ain't pretty. The Sens have managed to get this far without a significant contribution from either but how long can that last? We take an unflinching look at what we believe to be the cause of these no-shows.

And it doesn't stop there. We do a little mental Frankensteining and wonder what would happen if you could jam this year's team into Sens teams of the past. The dreaming continues as we look at how potential big name free agents may now see Ottawa as a desirable location because of this remarkable season. Of course, we have thoughts on the Torres suspension and take another look at how the other leagues handle their dirty laundry.

We received several top notch emails this week that we think you'll love and of course, we have another poll question for you, along with last week's results.

Game 7 in the play-offs. A chance to knock off the #1 team on their own turf. We think we know just the pesky team to do it.

BELIEVE IT!

So, one more time, we call upon David Ho and Kardinal to fill the void, so to speak. And, as always, they do a fine job. Fine? No that's not enough. AWESOME is more like it, as this show has to be one of the longest we've ever done. Its truly an epic!

So what, you may ask, did we spend so much time nattering about this week? Gee, I don't know, maybe THE FREAKIN' PLAY-OFFs!!!??? As of show time, the series sits at 2-1 for the Rangers:

Sens 2 - Rangers 4

Sens 3 - Rangers 2 OT

Rangers 1 - Sens 0

After what appeared to be a somewhat hesitant and jittery start in game 1, the boys made a statement like no other Sens team has ever made. Matt Carkner took one for the team and cemented his place in Sens' lore with 1 punch (ok, maybe 8 punches) by sending a message to the Rangers and the whole league. We give you our thoughts on that whole incident and the fallout. You'll also get to hear about Shredder and Crazy Canuck's excellent adventures in NYC.

However, as thrilled as we were with this new "family" taking care of business, and each other, they also lost Captain Alfie to yet another cheap shot to the head. This huge loss cannot be over stated as the team struggles to find offence, namely from its remaining point leaders Spezza and Michalek. Game 3 was a perfect example of that as the team was unable to get one past Lundquist in a thrilling game that saw play-off excitement return to Scotia Bank Place. The Ottawa fans deserve to take a huge bow as they made the city proud with their brilliant display of passion for this team.

Some of the more specific Sens topics we also touch on are what the Sens need to do to get the edge in this series, how to generate more for the big guys, unexpected performances from certain role players, and how this whole experience is such a gigantic stepping stone towards the future for the franchise.

But, like everyone else, we just can't talk play-off hockey this year without addressing all the insanity that's been taking place all around the league. The NHL and its policies regarding discipline and officiating have never been under more scrutiny and they are failing horribly. Or are they? Sure, the credibility of the game is taking a hit but the coffers are overflowing. We take a look at this paradox, how we got here and where it may be leading us.

We also have a few great e-mails from loyal Groundhogs, a voice mail from Pittsburgh, we announce the next SU get-together and we have the results of last week's poll question.

As you take in this episode, please find time to say a few Hail Alfies and pray that he has one last miraculous recovery in him.

Believe it!

Stooli is now the proud father of a baby girl named Aubrey and he and Mommy couldn't be happier. Neither could we. A huge congrats to the lucky parents. No word yet on when she gets her first tattoo but it probably won't be long.

Oh yeah! The play-offs have started. That little detail probably shouldn't be overlooked either. The Sens kick off their post-season Thursday against the Rangers, just like we predicted last episode (ahem, errrrr...um, yeah). Ok, maybe we didn't quite call it that way but after a 3 game slide to end the season, this improbable match-up is now reality. How did it happen? Like this:

Canes 2 - Sens 1

Bruins 3 - Sens 1

Sens 2 - Devils 4

Not a very impressive end to the season but not totally unexpected either. After the Sens locked up their play-off spot, a bit of a let down shouldn't shock us. So, is it a bad thing to now be up against the Eastern Conference winners rather than the cup champs? We give you our thoughts, with the help of past guest hosts David Ho and Kardinal filling in for Stooli, on how Ottawa matches up with Torts' gang and what their chances are of pulling off the upset.

Now, its not all roses, this play-off thing. CBC has once again blessed us with the broadcast crew of Bob Cole and Glen Healy, both despised by most Sens fans. This, no doubt, will give us plenty to bitch about in the coming shows. To help us get through this, we introduce the Sens/CBC Drinking Game. If you get through the 1st period without falling down, we salute you and your liver.

We also take a look at some of the other 1st round series, Kardinal brings us an interesting story on which teams give you the most bang for the buck, Ho does some math and we all have one final giggle at the expense of the Laffs and their bag-of-wind GM after what may have been the most ridiculous press conference ever.

Some awfully nice e-mails, a check in from Jersey, another SU get together is announced and what may have been Shredder's best line in 7 years put a cherry on the top of this podcast cake. The best part is you can have it AND eat it too!

GO SENS GO! WE SMELL AN UPSET!

The Sens Underground is 200 episodes old. Its been a long time and a lot of nights sitting behind the ole' mics but we've loved every minute of it. We can only hope that you folks got half the entertainment out of it that we did. And to help celebrate, we invite yet another groundhog to co-host tonight. Kardinal, he of the forums, grabs the fourth mic tonight and does a great job in this landmark episode. Big thanks to him.

Ok, enough back-patting. There's only one real topic that matters this week: THE SENS MAKE THE PLAY-OFFS! THE SENS MAKE THE PLAY-OFFS!! With two big wins this weekend, the boys in red, black and white completed their miraculous run back to the post-season:

Sens 4 - Flyers 3 (SO)

Sens 5 - Isles 1

Normally, the win over the Flyers would be the more impressive of the two but considering the win over the Isles was the clincher, done without Alfie (flu) and Spezza (procreation), you have to give it up for them for stepping up and getting the job done. As a matter of fact, a huge congrats needs to go out to Murray for a masterful job re-building the team so quickly and to the Stache for making these guys a team again. There is no shortage of love in Studio 11 tonight and rightfully so.

We dare take a look ahead to what will most likely be a run-in with the Bruins in the first round and discuss what the Sens will have to do to slay this black and yellow dragon. Many other topics made it across the table tonight including the likelihood of Z-Bad and Silfverberg joining the team for the play-offs, Karlsson's run for the record book, how the Sens should approach the balance of the regular season and whether or not they will be embraced as "Canada's team" in the post-season. We also take a look at the stupidity of the upcoming CBA fight, the greatness that should be the Pitts-Philly series and the brutality that is the Montreal Canadiens. Oh, and the leafs suck.

Some e-mails, a few voice mails from Jersey, some awesome Scottish ales and many giggles complete #200. Thanks for coming along with us all these nights . We'll be around as long as the Sens are.

Did any of us really not know this was coming? You'd have to be the dumbest of the dumb... or a laff fan. They never cease to amaze us in their ability to find ways to suck. This year might be their masterpiece, and you leafers have that tie-abusing czar himself, Brian Burke to thank. That's one heck of a re-build you have going there. You're, what? 3 or 4 years into it and you're where? Well done, well done. As you can expect, we have a few things to say at their expense this week.

However, we say these things with swollen tongues as we live-up to a promise we made earlier this year when we said we'd try out ghost peppers live on the show. We do it (although veeeeeeerrrrryyy carefully) and live to tell the story. The things we do for you people.

Once we get done with taking out the trash, we look at the week that was for the Sens:

Devils 1 - Sens 0

Sens 1 - Habs 5

Pens 4 - Sens 8

Sens 6 - Jets 4

Yeah, I think we all saw that coming, right? Lose, yet again, in stunning fashion, to the worst team in the East then slaughter the hottest team in the league. Top that off with one of the most exciting games of the year in Winnipeg and you have some hockey to talk about folks! They're a unpredictable bunch these Sens, but they sure can be fun.

Once we're done with the game, we take a look at some other topics, including the Duncan Keith suspension and why it made no sense. That topic leads us to the recent suspensions in the NFL and how they expose the NHL as soooo bush league. We also discuss what looks to be a promising sign in Quebec City, read some e-mails and also re-visit a few more old segments from our past.

Show 199: Complete. Next week is the big one!

Sorry about that unexpected break in the broadcast schedule but the lights and mics are back on in Studio 11 this week and we're bringing it with both barrels. We had a lot to catch-up on this week so expect a full show with a ton of topics.

There had been 8 games since we last podded so we didn't bother covering them all but we did focus on 3 in particular:

Sens 2 - Habs 3 (SO)

Habs 1 - Sens 2

Trees 3 - Sens 1

I suppose you could say that 2 losses out of three against these teams isn't that big of a deal, as neither of them will be in the play-offs. But, it always stings a little more losing to these clowns. What's more disturbing is the way they lost. We see some unsettling habits sneaking in at just the wrong time that worry us just a little. We'll lay these out for your approval.

We take a look at some of the players who have been struggling of late and why that may be. We also discuss Murray's latest U.S. collegiate addition, update some other Sens' prospects, give our first impressions of Ben Bishop, make barfing noises while dissecting Ottawa's woeful power play and weigh-in on on the EK65 for Norris debate, and why there should be no debate at all.

The Cherry/Burke feud makes us giggle, we revisit the idea of who might be the best match-up in the 1st round for the Sens, read your emails, hear again from a certain bald goalie and we have a visit from an old friend of the Underground from overseas.

Buckle up! The play-offs are coming and we're in high gear.

This year was no exception.

There are two new players in the Ottawa organization this week. Brian Lee, never able to gain the trust of the powers that be, has been shipped to Tampa in exchange for Matt Gilroy. Certainly not a blockbuster but possibly a trade that could give both players a fresh start and benefit both teams. More impressively, Murray seems to have pulled a coup on the whole league by snagging the #1 goalie prospect in the AHL in Ben Bishop from St.Louis. This moves seems like a stroke of brilliance on so many levels and we'll discuss them all.

Now, why would we need another goalie in the system? Maybe because our starting goalie has never heard that St. Hubert's has delivery!! In a season where this team seemed to be living somewhat of a charmed life, you knew something had to happen and, of course, it would happen to the goalie. Alex Auld has likely seen his last game as a Sen and Mr. Lehner looks like he's out to make a statement. So much cool stuff to talk about! We're downright giddy!

We've haven't even got to the games yet, and it was a pretty damn good week:

Caps 2 - Sens 5

Bruins 5 - Sens 3

Isles 2 - Sens 5

Sens 1 - Bruins 0

In a week that saw EK65 set all sorts of records and Jason Spezza continue to tear up the competition, the biggest achievement may have been that they finally found a way to knock off the cup champs! With a shut out, none the less!

Once we get done with the games, we discuss a slew of other items, including Paul Maclean's grip on the Jack Adams and how the schedule plays out in favour of the Sens. But, the real fun begins with an old school bashing of the hapless leafs. How old school? We even revive our old "Why the Leafs Suck" segment for this show. But we're not done there! Just cause we like your style, we take you for a stroll down memory lane and have a good laugh at an ole' Leaf-bashing classic.

E-mails, voice mails, poll questions, beer.....yeah, this one's worth an hour+ of your time. Enjoy!

To that end, we welcome to Studio 11 this week, this fine looking young man by the name of David Ho. David has been a steady member to the forums and has come up with some beauts along the way but more importantly, embraces our inappropriate tendency to make fun of stereotypes. He was a very good sport when we made fun of the fact he is..... bald (seriously, what does this podcast have against hair?). David does a great job sitting in for Stooli this week, as he's off to the west coast to collect babies.

Ok, as for the Sens, its all systems go as that losing streak now seems like a distant memory. What a week it was:

Sens 4 - Tampa 0

Sens 6 - Panthers 2

Sens 6 - Isles 0

For a team that couldn't score for awhile there, these games were certainly a statement that the slump is behind them. This was probably the most dominant the Sens have looked so far this season, lead by the return of Spezza 2.0 and EK65. These two continue to tear up the league but there were so many other contributors to the turn around, notably Mr. Clean himself, Craig Anderson with his two shut-outs. We take a quick look at this important set of wins and wonder, why don't they just bring the Dad's along all season?

With the trade deadline approaching, you won't be surprised to find it a topic of choice this week. We spend some time looking at what the Sens may, or more likely, may not do before Monday. Some interesting comments from the owner and the GM this week give us an idea of how things may play out for Ottawa as the clock ticks down. We also discuss how a trade could actually be a bad thing for a team clicking as well as Ottawa is. Oh, and Euge, you didn't make Karlsson any poorer with your declaration of his coming greatness, this week. THAT'S gonna cost ya!

We take a look at some interesting stats, rant a little more about refs and CBC's Ron Maclean's cheer leading for them, make fun of the leafs (just like the rest of the players do too, apparently) and put Shredder on the hot seat over his boy, Brad Marchand. E-mails are read and we play another voice mail submission for a spot behind the mic in Studio 11.

Ok, 1/4 more of a season to go! Bring it home, Sens!
