As I slowly wake from my DRUNKEN summer of partying and YOGA I felt it was time for a BLOG. Yeah I said YOGA! I dare anyone to not try a downward dog and want to go back just for the scenery.

Any who...

I was going to write about how GREAT this team will be now that the Reddens and Awfuls are gone, but then the Sun decided to publish an article that sourced Bryan Murray being interested in Mats Sundin, to the point of suggesting that at least 3 phone calls were made of late.

Would this were to have happened 2 months ago, I would have been elated, I would have been happier than the moment that Ottawa traded that BRICK of player Mez-takeros and sickatatinly fleeced Tampa. But now, Hellz No!

Why, because Mats is a joke...I used to really respect him, but this new found opinion is 100% due to the manor in which he has conducted himself. His Nancy heartfelt, wait until I am sure attitude has left at least 3 teams waiting. Waiting to rebuild, waiting to move forward, waiting to finalize a roster and we are less than 2 weeks from camp. We are talking about the player that did not believe in the concept of a rental player role last March because he wanted to be with a team from October to June; yet we are 3 weeks from October and we have reports that Mr. Stand Firm is still not even sure he wants to play and that it would be as late as December before he decides...

Sadly our owner is going to be pushing as hard as possible to get the pumpkin head here in Ottawa. We know this because he is just as obsessed with sticking it to the Toronto Leafs fans as he is in suggesting that we will do what ever it takes to win.
